Collection: Embroidery

During my academic journey, I discovered artistic works created by nuns in convents across Latin America and Europe. These pieces allowed the nuns to express their devotion in material form. Inspired by their use of ornamentation and mixed media, I decided to learn embroidery and develop my own designs. I began to blend threads, stitches, and paper in my work, incorporating elements such as vintage botanical illustrations and photographs I have found in flea markets and antique shops.
