Antique Botanical Print: Lysimachia nummularia
Originally drawn and engraved by William Curtis for Flora Londinensis: Or Plates and Descriptions of Such Plants as Grow Wild in the Environs of London (London, 1777). This piece features delicately embroidered details that accentuate the beauty and form of the original illustration. On the back, a scientific description of the plant is secured with thoughtfully placed threads, adding depth and craftsmanship to the presentation.
The artwork is set in a restored rectangular wooden frame, carefully selected to enhance the vintage character of the print.
